Eco-Traps 1.8L technical product information: CURRENT UKST018 Compact Trap Installation Guide

This trap is for use in Europe based on standard 1½” pipework

The Eco-Traps 1.8L provides you with an economical sediment waste trap that is easily installed and maintained.
The unit is simple and fast to install where the existing sink has a P Trap (U-shaped bend). It is connected below the sink and collects solids in a bottle, which has a fill line. When the solids reach the fill line, the trap is drained through a valve to allow you to easily remove the bottle.

The bottle is then exchanged with the spare replacement bottle, the valve shut and the trap is back in service.
Bottle exchange is rapid and done without the need of tools in less than 2 minutes. The full bottle can then be emptied responsibly, washed and is ready for reuse. No fuss, no mess.

The temperature of the water must not be above 37 °C (hand hot) or it may compromise the fittings.

Complete trap size from the top of the threads to the bottom of the 1.8 litre bottle is 318mm. Space is required underneath to remove trap (we advise minimum of 50mm).
